Battersea Legal Service
is a joint project managed by Wandsworth Citizens Advice Bureau and
Wandsworth and Merton Law Centre. The project opened in 1999. CAB workers
offer drop in advice sessions and arrange appointments to deal with complex
issues such as welfare benefit appeals. The Law Centre employ solicitors
specialising in housing, immigration, community care and education law.

The Advice Line operates
to normal office hours, extended to 7:30pm on Mondays, and also open
